4 Core Aluminium Power Cable - FAQs
4 core power cables provide three phases plus a dedicated neutral and are typically used for low-tension mains feeders where balanced and unbalanced three-phase loads are present - for example main building feeders, factory sub-mains, and panel-to-panel runs. 3 core is more common for direct three-phase motor feeds where a separate neutral is not required.
Available sizes are 16, 25 and 35 sq.mm per core. The right size depends on the connected load, run length, voltage drop and ambient conditions. Confirm the correct size with your electrician or project engineer before installation.
Yes. The cable is rated 1.1 kV per IS 1554 (Part 1) and is suitable for low-tension industrial distribution including machine feeders, sub-panels, and main panels in factories. For direct burial or outdoor runs, ensure proper mechanical protection and cable glanding at termination points.
The cable is supplied on wooden drums in standard lengths (typical drum lengths are 100 m, 200 m, 500 m or as confirmed at order). Each drum is labelled with size, length, batch and standard. Cut lengths can be discussed for project requirements.
